November 2023 — Media Print UAE Website Redesign & Development V3
Role: WordPress Developer & Technical SEO Specialist
Client: Media Print UAE — Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Stack: WordPress, WooCommerce, Elementor, Custom PHP, Hostinger, Technical SEO, Analytics & Search Tools
Website: mediaprintuae.com

Project Overview
In November 2023, I rebuilt Media Print UAE’s website as a complete V3 redesign and development project. Media Print UAE is a Dubai printing and branding company that also works around exhibitions, event setups, signage, packaging, promotional products, vehicle branding, and other custom print services.
The previous website had reached the point where small fixes were no longer enough. The interface was outdated and inconsistent, the mobile experience was weak, navigation and service structure were difficult to understand, performance needed attention, content was aging, SEO visibility was declining, and the website had accumulated technical and management problems. I therefore approached the project as a full business-site rebuild rather than a cosmetic redesign.
My Responsibility
I handled the project as both the WordPress developer and technical SEO specialist. This meant the work was not limited to visual design. I was responsible for rebuilding the site architecture, redesigning the frontend, restructuring service and product content, improving the conversion paths, implementing custom functionality, managing hosting and technical issues, and rebuilding the site’s SEO foundation.
- Complete WordPress website redesign and development
- Homepage, header, footer, navigation, service and product page redevelopment
- WooCommerce customization for a quote-driven printing business
- Elementor-based responsive page implementation
- Custom PHP functionality
- Technical and on-page SEO
- Content rewriting and SEO-focused page planning
- Graphics, banners and website visual assets
- Forms, WhatsApp conversion paths and custom inquiry behavior
- Performance optimization and responsive/mobile improvements
- Hosting, migration, SSL, DNS, backups, caching and ongoing technical maintenance
Rebuilding the Information Architecture Around Search and Customer Intent
Instead of rebuilding the old page structure one-for-one, I planned the website around the company’s actual services, search demand and customer journeys. Major pages were rewritten and reorganized according to relevant services and keyword opportunities so that the website could work both as a sales asset and as a long-term organic-search platform.
I created and improved service pages, product-related pages, blog structures and conversion paths while making the navigation easier for visitors who may arrive looking for anything from signage and exhibition printing to custom packaging, vehicle graphics or marketing materials.
Custom Quote-First WooCommerce Experience
A normal e-commerce checkout is not a natural fit for many custom printing jobs because pricing often depends on dimensions, material, quantity, finishing, installation and other specifications. Instead of forcing visitors through a standard cart flow, I adapted WooCommerce around the client’s real sales process.
- Removed the standard cart-first buying experience where it did not fit the business
- Replaced native purchase actions with Get Quote conversion paths
- Added WhatsApp quote actions across relevant pages and products
- Built pre-filled inquiry messages so customers could contact the team with useful context already included
- Reduced unnecessary checkout friction for custom-production jobs
This changed the website from a generic WooCommerce implementation into a system that better matched how a real Dubai printing company qualifies and closes custom orders.
Event & Exhibition Functionality
Because Media Print UAE also serves exhibition and event-related customers, the website later expanded with purpose-built event functionality rather than treating events as ordinary blog posts.
I implemented a structured event system with event dates, end dates, venue information, organizer details and event URLs. The frontend automatically communicates the event state through labels such as Upcoming Event, Event Happening and Event Passed, together with countdown or remaining-time information when appropriate.
- Upcoming-event countdowns
- Live event-state handling
- Automatic passed-event presentation
- Event start and end dates
- Venue name and address
- Organizer information and external URLs
- Structured WordPress admin fields for easier event management

The backend was also extended with dedicated event fields and frontend visibility controls. These fields were made available through the WordPress REST API, allowing the site’s event information to participate in automation workflows rather than remaining isolated inside the WordPress editor.
Technical SEO & Search Foundation
The rebuild included a broad technical and on-page SEO pass rather than adding an SEO plugin and considering the job complete. I worked across the site’s structure, content and technical configuration.
- Keyword research and keyword-to-page planning
- SEO-driven service and page architecture
- Title tags and meta descriptions
- On-page content optimization
- Technical SEO troubleshooting
- Schema and structured-data implementation
- Internal linking
- SEO-friendly URL structure
- Image optimization
- XML sitemap configuration
- Redirect management
- Google Search Console
- Analytics and measurement setup
- Blog and content strategy
The renewed site subsequently improved its search performance and remained an active SEO and content asset for the business. I continued managing and improving the website after the V3 launch rather than treating delivery as the end of the project.

Performance & Technical Quality
Performance was part of the development work because the site contains many visual assets and serves a business where customers frequently browse service examples before making an inquiry.

A November 2024 GTmetrix test recorded an A grade, 93% performance, 99% structure, approximately 1.5-second Largest Contentful Paint, 0 ms Total Blocking Time and 0 Cumulative Layout Shift.

Google PageSpeed testing from the same period showed 100 SEO on both mobile and desktop, 96 Best Practices, and performance scores of approximately 77 on mobile and 90 on desktop. These results were captured from the live production website rather than a stripped-down demonstration page.

Hosting, Infrastructure & Ongoing DevOps
The work extended beyond page building. I have continued to manage a wide range of operational and infrastructure issues around the website, including problems that can appear long after the initial redesign.
- Hostinger hosting configuration and troubleshooting
- Domain and DNS management
- SSL and HTTPS issues
- Website migrations
- CDN and caching-related troubleshooting
- WordPress and plugin update failures
- Broken layouts and frontend regressions
- Backup and recovery planning
- Professional business-email configuration
- Connecting business email with Gmail workflows
- Security hardening and login protection
- Bot and automated-login attack mitigation
- Plugin compatibility and production troubleshooting
The site has received persistent automated login attempts over time, so security is treated as an operational requirement rather than an afterthought. I maintain layered protection, careful update practices, backups and access controls to keep the production environment stable.
Lead Tracking & Measurement
As the site continued evolving, I also introduced more structured lead measurement so the business could understand what visitors were doing rather than relying only on generic pageview analytics.

A custom WordPress lead-signal system now records important conversion activity such as form submissions, WhatsApp clicks and call clicks, with support for campaign identifiers, UTM data and webhook-based automation. A captured production dashboard showed 186 tracked lead signals, including 174 form leads, 11 WhatsApp clicks and 1 call click, with zero failed webhook events at the time of capture.
This connects website development with the client’s wider marketing and automation operations: the website is not only designed to look good, but to produce measurable inquiries and provide cleaner data for follow-up systems.
Visual & Conversion Redesign
The V3 interface replaced the old broken experience with a cleaner, more structured visual system designed around the company’s services. I rebuilt the homepage presentation, navigation, headers and footers, responsive layouts, service presentation, calls to action and visual assets.
The new interface uses stronger hierarchy, larger visual storytelling, clearer service discovery and persistent inquiry paths such as WhatsApp and quote actions. The site also includes project/showcase presentation so visitors can see examples of real printing, signage, packaging and branding work before contacting the company.
Business Value
The strongest result of the project is not one isolated metric. The V3 rebuild turned a difficult, aging website into an operational platform that the client still uses and that I continue to manage.
- Created a much more professional digital presentation for a Dubai printing company
- Made a large service catalog easier to navigate and understand
- Aligned the website architecture with SEO and real customer search intent
- Reduced friction between product discovery and requesting a custom quote
- Improved responsive usability and frontend stability
- Created a maintainable structure for ongoing services, products, projects, content and events
- Built a stronger technical foundation for SEO, analytics and future automation
- Improved the client’s ability to track and act on website inquiries
- Created infrastructure that could continue evolving instead of requiring another complete rebuild for every new requirement
Long-Term Relationship
This was not a one-time handoff. I continued working with Media Print UAE after the V3 rebuild across website management, technical SEO, content, automation, infrastructure and new functionality. The project became a long-term production environment where I regularly solve real business and technical problems as requirements change.
That long-term responsibility is an important part of the project: the website demonstrates not only my ability to design and build a WordPress site, but also my ability to keep a business-critical site stable, improve it over time, connect it with marketing systems and develop custom functionality when standard WordPress behavior is not enough.
